Mommy was excited to find Santa. Me? Not so much.

And now for a close up:

I need to speak with whoever said it was okay for my baby to turn 1 and a 1/2! Still a sweet little sack of sugar.

Christmas Trees Smell...Mmmmm...Good

Logan was super psyched when we got our Christmas tree this year. He was eager to help Dad with setup, but conked before decorations :-) He's been great about looking with his eyes and being gentle with his hands. His favorite thing though, by far, is smelling the tree. Here he goes on a sniffing spree and demonstrates some of his newly developed talking skills.

Logan and Smokey Bear: 17 Months

Choo Choo!

Logan finally got a table for the amazing train set he got from Auntie Melissa, Uncle Shaun, and cousins Blake, Anika, Caden, and Claire. He played for 45 minutes before being carried to bed. Did we mention he drools a lot when he's focused :-)

SSR (Sustained Silent Reading)

Sometimes Logan gets to the mail before we do...

Paci Man!

Logan was Paci Man for Halloween this year.
Hopefully when he is older, he can find forgiveness in his heart.

Autumn in Yosemite

We rallied with Auntie Drea, Uncle Lech, and Baby Kaya for one last camping adventure
before the cold snow comes. We headed to Yosemite where the color and light were spectacular.
As usual, good times were had by all.

Ridin' in style.

Helping Daddy pack up.

Uncle Lech had Logan help take the trash to the bin...I'm not sure he knew exactly what he was in for...

Seattle

On the weekend of September 11th, Papa directed an amazing memorial concert in Mt. Vernon, WA, complete with choir, orchestra, bagpipes, saxophone soloist, children's choir, and military jet flyover (among many other things). It was an amazing show and very moving. We flew up for the occasion and Logan actually sat, mesmerized, for most of the 90 minute show before falling asleep. It was great to catch up with everyone and soak up some Seattle sunshine (it was 85 degrees that weekend!).

Also in August, we rallied the troops for a group camping trip in Tahoe. The weather was great, the kiddos had fun, and the adults enjoyed catching up around the fire.

Yosemite

In August, we packed up our bikes and some camping gear and headed to Yosemite. We had a super fun week of biking, swimming, and fresh air. Ahhh...the great outdoors!
