Headed South
We had planned on going to Tahoe for winter break, but as we walked to the grocery store to get food for our trip (we were leaving in a couple of hours), we decided to head south and take a mini road trip. Fly by the seat of our pants...that's how we roll. We ended up in San Diego and camped on the beach at Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Dan got to surf, we took family bike rides, and had fun adventures with Dan's sister and her family.

We headed for the zoo one evening when all of the animals were asleep, but the holiday lights were shining brightly. Logan and his friend, Betsy, had a great time running down the paths and admiring the lights.
