Miss Maya Goes to Washington (State)

Last week we traveled to Washington to visit family and friends. It was a crazy whirlwind tour, but amazing as always to see everyone. Hopefully next time we can stay a while longer.

February was rugged. Logan and Maya both had ear infections and Logan decided to up the ante and get pneumonia as well. On the other hand, we got to hit up Yosemite for the long weekend with Tia (Ariel), MoeMoe (Jereme), and Orion. The weather was glorious and Logan got to ski with Daddy for the first time.

Pneumonia = no bueno. For anyone.

Seriously? You both need to be held AND dinner needs to be made?!?!

Maya: One Month

January

A new year. Daddy went back to work and we are all starting to figure this whole thing out.

Catching Up - December

Clearly it's been a long time since we updated the blog. I think Maya was born the week after our last post :-) Hopefully keeping up will be easier now that we're in a good little groove. I think we'll do some highlights from each month and see how that goes. We are so blessed and busy...and excited to get this thing current!

December: Li'l Maya Wren was born on December 5th. She weighed in at a dainty 9 lbs. 2 oz. and was 22 inches long - bigger than brother! Atta girl! Very alert and calm, she wakes up only once or twice a night and nurses right back to sleep. Logan is already taking on the roles of older brother, fierce protector, and teacher. He loves him some Baby Maya!
