Mt. Tam Jam

This weekend we rode a school bus to the top of Mt Tamalpais for Mt. Tam Jam. We spent the day at the Mountain Theater overlooking the Bay; listening to great music on our blanket in the shade of an oak tree.

The Mountain Theater (not our photo)

It was wicked hot. The Ergo made for two sweaty girls.

Chillin' in the shade with Daddy.

One of our Tam Jam neighbors had some melty blue cuppycake goodies to share.

Everyone's favorite band, CAKE!

A pretty super great time was had by all.

Other Fun Stuff

Maya hanging with her new godsister, Denali Rue.

Whenever Daddy is away for work, we choose one night to eat out.
We had Ethiopian last time - Logan loved eating with his hands :-)

We visited Mommers and dipped our feet in the (cold) pool.

We went to TrainTown in Sonoma.
That's Logan and Daddy at the tippy top.

These two HAVE to snuggle every morning.
Logan even pretends to be asleep so Maya can "wake him up."

We finally stopped swaddling Maya. FREEDOM!

Maya: 6 Months

This one's a character...in all of the best ways, of course!

Logan Turns 3 - Shinkansen Style

Somehow our amazing little man turned three! He has been such a joy - never failing to keep us on our toes in every way. We love you, Logan, and have loved watching you grow into such a beautiful boy.
Happy Birthday!

The day started with a yummy pancake!
Bullet train piƱata.

Everyone rode the Tilden Steam Train together.

Birthday snack at school.

Shinkansen goodies.

Maya Starts Solids

and loves them!

It will be so fun for her to gobble up summer's bounty. The farmers' markets have an abundance of delicious fruits and veggies now and we often buy double of things because we know the pint of raspberries isn't going to make it home :-)

So far she's totally into cereal, pumpkin, yogurt, carrots, winter squash, apples, apricots, plums...and not so delighted by bananas or avocado. We'll keep trying.
