We've been going to the kite festival for a couple of years now, but we finally wised up this time around. Instead of spending an hour fighting with the masses to pay lots of moolah for a parking space a mile away from the festival, we parked in a shopping center parking lot and rode our bikes. We rode on the bike path along the Berkeley Marina and right up to the free valet bike parking.
We had a great time flying kites, riding ponies, and generally enjoying this amazing place we call home.
